Four Brewers is a weekly podcast featuring a colorful cast of...four brewers. Blind tasing, beer reviews, recipe formulation, and industry interviews are all within the realm of discussion. Said brewers commissioned me to design some artwork around some on-air catchphrases. One such catchphrase was the word "whale" - a term brewers use to describe rare, limited release beer. The design took shape from there, incorporating vibes from Moby Dick and a blow hole spouting brew with a rather large head. The shirts went on to be their highest sellers to date, building enough of a connection to the crew to be used in promotional runs throughout the Southern California beer circuit.
